Compact Business Desktop

The HP EliteDesk 800 G6 SFF is a small-form-factor desktop built around a 10th-generation Intel Core i5-10500T processor with a maximum turbo frequency of 4.50 GHz. It ships with 16GB of DDR4 memory and a 512GB NVMe solid-state drive, running Windows 11 Pro out of the box.

Office Workers, Not Content Creators

This system suits office staff, call-centre agents and home administrators who need responsive web browsing, document editing and video conferencing. Buyers who require discrete graphics for 3D rendering, video encoding or modern gaming should look elsewhere, as the integrated Intel HD Graphics 630 cannot accelerate those workloads.

512GB NVMe Boot Drive

The single 512GB NVMe drive holds the operating system and applications, delivering fast boot and load times. Users who store large media libraries, project archives or local databases will need to add secondary storage or use network shares, because no additional drive bays are populated.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 512GB NVMe drive into the SFF chassis and which step is often missed?

The 512GB NVMe drive is already fitted to the motherboard M.2 slot; the step people miss is confirming the drive appears in the BIOS boot order before installing Windows 11 Pro.

What maintenance will the 16GB DDR4 memory need later?

The 16GB DDR4 memory is soldered to the board on this SFF model and cannot be upgraded or replaced; keep the interior dust-free to maintain stable thermals.

What limit appears first when the Intel Core i5-10500T runs at 4.50 GHz for long periods?

The integrated Intel HD Graphics 630 shares system memory and thermal budget, so sustained 4.50 GHz loads hit the shared thermal ceiling before the CPU alone would.
