Compact AI Desktop for Business Users

The HP EliteDesk Mini is a 1-litre business desktop powered by an AMD Ryzen AI 5 PRO 340 processor with 6 cores and 12 threads. It ships with 32 GB of DDR5-5600 memory and a 1 TB solid-state drive. Integrated AMD Radeon 840M graphics drive up to three displays without a discrete card. Windows 11 Pro comes pre-installed for managed environments.

Upgrade from Older Mini PCs or Tower Workstations

This unit replaces legacy small-form-factor desktops that lack a neural processing unit and modern wireless connectivity. The jump is worth it when workloads include on-device AI inference, heavy multitasking across virtual desktops, or Wi-Fi 7 access points. Buyers who need multiple discrete GPUs or user-serviceable expansion slots should look elsewhere.

Sustained Load Behaviour in a 1-Litre Chassis

Under continuous multi-threaded workloads the 4.8 GHz boost clock is regulated by the compact thermal solution, so clocks settle below peak after several minutes. The 50 TOPS NPU handles background AI tasks without starving the CPU cores. Fan noise rises noticeably during extended compiles or video exports but remains within typical office ambient levels.
