HP EliteOne 800 G4 Touch All-in-One

This 23.8 inch FHD touchscreen all-in-one desktop integrates an 8th Gen Intel Core i5-8500 hexa-core processor with 32 GB of DDR4 SODIMM memory and a 1 TB solid state drive. It suits office professionals and small-business users who need a compact Windows 10 Pro workstation with integrated graphics and built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. The included USB keyboard and mouse complete the ready-to-use package.

Installation and common issues

The unit arrives assembled; simply connect power and press the power button to start the Windows 10 Pro setup. Memory and storage upgrades require opening the rear chassis to access the two SODIMM slots and the 2.5 inch drive bay, so keep a small Phillips screwdriver handy. Buyers who need discrete graphics performance or multiple internal drive bays will find the integrated UHD Graphics 630 and single 2.5 inch bay limiting.

Deciding specification: 32 GB DDR4 SODIMM

The 32 GB DDR4 SODIMM configuration is the key figure that determines whether this system matches your workload. It provides ample headroom for heavy multitasking and large datasets without relying on virtual memory. If your applications require more memory than the two SODIMM slots can support, this all-in-one cannot be expanded further.

Questions about this item

How do I verify the 23.8" FHD touchscreen is responding correctly after setup?

Open Windows Settings, go to System then Display, and confirm the resolution reads 1920 x 1080. Tap several points on the screen; the cursor should follow instantly without offset.

Which accessories are included and what must I purchase separately?

The box contains the all-in-one unit, a USB keyboard, a USB mouse, and a Windows 10 Pro licence. No external monitor is included because the display is built in.

Should I choose the i5-8500 with 32 GB RAM and 1 TB SSD or a different configuration?

Select this i5-8500 model when you need six cores, 32 GB DDR4 SODIMM, and a 2.5" 1 TB SSD for heavy multitasking. Choose an i7-8700 version only if you require higher turbo speeds.
