EliteOne 800 G4 All-in-One

This HP EliteOne 800 G4 is a 23.8-inch all-in-one desktop with a full HD IPS touchscreen. It runs an 8th Gen Intel Core i5-8500 processor with six cores and 16 GB of DDR4 memory. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 630 handles the display. Windows 10 Pro comes pre-installed with a USB keyboard and mouse included.

Storage and memory limits

The system combines a 512 GB M.2 SSD with a 1 TB hard drive for a dual-drive layout. Memory uses DDR4 SODIMM modules and the platform supports up to 32 GB total. The M.2 slot can accept NVME drives for the operating system. No other memory types or drive interfaces are supported by this chassis.

Touchscreen decides fit

The 23.8-inch 1920 x 1080 touch panel is the defining feature; buyers who do not need touch input should choose a non-touch model. The all-in-one form factor means the display and computer share one enclosure, so the screen cannot be upgraded or replaced separately. Builders who need a discrete graphics card or a second display output must select a tower system instead.

Questions about this item

Which storage combination should I pick — the 512 GB M.2 SSD plus 1 TB hard drive or a larger single drive?

This unit ships with a 512 GB M.2 SSD for the operating system and a 1 TB 2.5" hard drive for bulk data; the dual-drive layout is fixed.

How does the six-core i5-8500 at 3.0 GHz with 4.10 GHz boost perform in everyday workloads?

The 8500 delivers six cores and six threads, so multi-threaded office apps and light content creation run smoothly while single-thread tasks hit the 4.10 GHz peak.

What display interface does the built-in 23.8" 1920 x 1080 touchscreen use and what resolution ceiling does it enforce?

The panel is driven internally at 1920 x 1080; external monitors connect through the available video outputs and can exceed that resolution.
