All-in-One for Business Teams

The HP EliteOne 800 G4 combines a 23.8-inch FHD IPS display with an 8th Gen Intel Hexa-Core i5-8500 processor. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 630 handles everyday visual tasks. Windows 10 Pro comes pre-installed alongside a USB keyboard and mouse. This unit suits offices that want a tidy desk footprint without separate tower and monitor cables.

Build Integration and Space Savings

The all-in-one chassis houses a dual-drive arrangement: a 512 GB M.2 SSD plus a 1 TB SSD for capacity. 8 GB of DDR4 SODIMM memory supports multitasking across browser tabs and office apps. Gigabit Ethernet, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are built in, so no extra adapters are required. A DVDRW drive remains available for legacy media. The design removes the need for a separate CPU case, freeing desk space and reducing cable clutter.

Upgrade Path and Fit

The system replaces older all-in-ones or tower-plus-monitor sets that lack solid-state boot drives and modern connectivity. The jump is worthwhile when faster boot times, quieter operation and a cleaner workspace matter. Buyers who need discrete graphics performance, user-upgradeable graphics or more than 8 GB of soldered memory should look elsewhere. The fixed display panel also means the screen cannot be reused independently if the compute section fails.

Questions about this item

How far can the 8 GB DDR4 memory be expanded before the system hits its ceiling?

The board supports up to 32 GB of DDR4 SODIMM, so the installed 8 GB can be quadrupled by filling the two 204-pin slots.

What thermal and acoustic behaviour should be expected when the i5-8500 runs at its 4.10 GHz turbo for extended periods?

The all-in-one chassis uses a single internal fan; sustained turbo will raise chassis temperature and fan speed, producing noticeable airflow noise in a quiet room.

Which peripherals are already in the box so the unit can be used immediately?

A USB keyboard and USB mouse are included; the 23.8" 1920 x 1080 display, webcam, DVD-RW drive, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are built in.
