17.3" HD+ touchscreen business laptop

The HP Essential 17t combines a 17.3-inch diagonal HD+ touch display with an Intel Core i7-1355U processor, 32 GB of DDR4-3200 memory and a 1 TB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed. The silver chassis measures 15.78 by 10.15 by 0.78 inches and weighs 4.6 lbs. Intel Iris Xe graphics handle everyday visual tasks.

HD+ resolution limits sharpness

The 1600 x 900 panel delivers 250 nits of brightness and touch input, but its pixel density is modest for a 17.3-inch screen, so fine text and detailed images can appear less crisp than on higher-resolution panels. Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3 provide modern wireless connectivity, yet the HD+ native resolution restricts the amount of on-screen workspace and may limit the clarity of external monitors driven by the integrated graphics.

32 GB DDR4-3200 memory fixed at purchase

The system ships with 32 GB of DDR4-3200 RAM and the supplier notes support up to 64 GB, but the configuration offered here cannot be upgraded beyond the installed 32 GB without opening the chassis and sourcing compatible modules. Buyers who anticipate needing more memory later should verify upgrade accessibility before committing.
