Refurbished business laptop

This HP 650 G8 unit is a refurbished Grade A laptop aimed at office workers and students who need a reliable Windows 11 Pro machine for everyday productivity. It ships with a quad-core Intel Core i5-1135G7 processor running at 2.4GHz and 16GB of system memory for smooth multitasking across business applications. The 15.6-inch FHD display provides a 1920 x 1080 resolution in a non-touch format.

Fanless integrated graphics keep thermals quiet

Intel Iris Xe graphics share system memory and handle standard office visuals without a discrete GPU, so the cooling system stays subdued during typical document and browser workloads. The 512GB NVMe solid-state drive delivers fast boot and load times while drawing minimal power compared to mechanical storage. This combination supports a thin-and-light chassis weighing 3.84 lbs for easy transport between meetings.

Steps up from 8GB memory

Users moving from a laptop limited to 8GB of RAM or a spinning hard drive will notice the responsiveness jump immediately with the 16GB memory and NVMe storage pairing. The Thunderbolt 4 port adds a single-cable dock option that older USB-C ports cannot match for peripheral bandwidth. Buyers who need a dedicated graphics card for rendering or a larger colour-accurate screen should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 512GB NVMe drive and what step is often missed?

The 512GB NVMe drive is factory-installed in the M.2 slot; the step often missed is ensuring the retaining screw is tightened so the drive stays seated under vibration.

What maintenance or replacement will the 16GB memory need later?

The 16GB memory is soldered and cannot be upgraded; plan for a future system replacement if workloads exceed the installed capacity.

What limit appears first on the Intel Core i5-1135G7 during sustained loads?

The 2.4GHz base clock and 15W thermal envelope cause the processor to throttle first under continuous multi-core workloads.
