HP JL681A#ABA Instant On 1930 8G Class4 PoE 2SFP 124W network switch

Instant On 1930 8G PoE switch

The Aruba Instant On 1930 is a managed Ethernet switch with ten ports designed for small-business networks. It delivers eight Gigabit PoE+ RJ-45 ports and two SFP uplink slots in a desktop or rack-mountable metal enclosure. IT administrators can configure VLANs, QoS and security policies through the cloud-managed Instant On portal.

124 W PoE budget for eight ports

The switch provides a total PoE budget of 124 W across its eight PoE+ ports, each capable of supplying up to 30 W. This capacity determines how many access points, IP cameras or VoIP phones can be powered simultaneously without an external injector. Buyers needing more than 124 W of aggregate PoE power should select a model with a larger budget.

Fanless operation under continuous load

With no moving parts the unit runs silently while forwarding traffic at wire speed across all ten Gigabit ports. The compact 1.7 in height allows dense stacking in cabinets where active cooling would recirculate heat. Environments that require redundant power supplies or deeper port buffers are not addressed by this design.
