Product identity

The HP LaserJet 1320T is a new monochrome laser printer supplied with an extra paper feeder and a generic toner cartridge. It connects via USB and prints at up to 22 ppm with a 1200 x 1200 dpi resolution. Automatic duplex printing is supported and the combined input capacity reaches 500 sheets. This bundle suits offices that need reliable black-only output with minimal intervention.

Who it suits and who it does not

Small teams that print mostly text documents and want a single USB-connected device will find the speed and paper capacity adequate. Buyers who require colour output, wireless or network connectivity, or higher monthly duty cycles should look at other models. The lack of colour and of Ethernet or Wi‑Fi limits its fit for shared or mobile workflows.

Deciding specification

The single specification that determines suitability is the monochrome-only print engine combined with USB‑only connectivity. If the workflow demands colour pages or network sharing, this printer cannot meet the need; if black‑only USB printing is acceptable, the 22 ppm speed and 500‑sheet input make it a practical choice.

The bundled generic HP Q5949A toner yields up to 2500 pages before needing replacement.

What limits continuous printing at 22 ppm?

How much heat or noise does the printer produce during all-day use?

The unit was fully cleaned and worn parts such as the fuser film and pressure roller were replaced to run quietly and cool under sustained load.
