Enterprise colour multifunction printer

The HP LaserJet Enterprise 500 Color MFP M575f combines printing, copying, scanning and faxing in a single networked device. It prints up to 30 pages per minute in both black and colour at 1200 x 1200 dpi resolution. A 50-sheet document feeder speeds multi-page jobs. Ethernet connectivity integrates directly into an office LAN. The bundle includes four generic toner cartridges rated at 5500 black and 6000 colour pages each.

Installation and common issues

Connect the RJ-45 cable, power on and the updated firmware negotiates modern network settings automatically. The pre-installed maintenance kit replaces fuser, rollers and pads so paper-path reliability is restored to OEM specification. Duplex printing is ready without extra hardware. The main difficulties are configuring scan-to-email on older mail servers and ensuring the 350-sheet input tray matches your daily volume.

Pre-purchase checklist

Verify that your office network provides a free Ethernet port and DHCP or static IP addressing for the printer. Confirm that A4 or Letter paper sizes satisfy your output needs because the tray capacity is fixed at 350 sheets. Check that the 33.6 Kbps fax speed meets any legacy line requirements. Buyers who need wireless or USB direct printing should look elsewhere because this model only offers wired Ethernet connectivity.
