HP LaserJet Enterprise 500 MFP M525C

This monochrome multifunction laser printer prints, copies and scans at up to 42 pages per minute with a 1200 x 1200 dpi resolution. It suits offices that need a single network-ready device for high-volume black-and-white output. The bundle includes a new generic toner cartridge rated for 12500 pages. Buyers who require colour printing or wireless connectivity should look elsewhere.

Integration into an office network

The unit connects via Ethernet RJ-45 for wired LAN access and offers a maximum paper input capacity of 1000 sheets. This large tray capacity reduces the frequency of paper refills during long print runs. A new maintenance kit with fuser, rollers and pads is pre-installed to minimise paper jams. The firmware is updated for current networking environments.

Bundled toner and maintenance kit

The included generic CE255X toner delivers up to 12500 pages, lowering the immediate cost per page. Pre-installed maintenance components such as the fuser, pickup rollers and transfer roller extend service intervals. The printer arrives cleaned internally and externally with updated firmware. A 90 day depot warranty covers the hardware.

Questions about this item

How many pages can the 1000-sheet tray feed before a reload is needed during a long print run?

The tray holds 1000 sheets, so you can print up to 1000 pages before adding more paper.

Does the Ethernet-only network link keep the unit cool and quiet during all-day operation?

With only a wired Ethernet connection and no wireless radios, the printer runs cooler and quieter than Wi-Fi models during continuous use.

What network infrastructure must already be in place for the RJ-45 port to work?

You need a wired Ethernet network with a free switch port and DHCP or static IP configuration ready for the printer.
