HP LaserJet Enterprise 500 MFP M525C

The HP LaserJet Enterprise 500 MFP M525C is a monochrome multifunction laser printer designed for workgroups that need printing, copying and scanning. It produces black output at up to 42 ppm with a 1200 x 1200 dpi resolution and connects via Ethernet for network sharing. A new generic toner cartridge rated at 12500 pages is included in the bundle.

Suited for offices with high-volume mono print needs

Teams that rely on colour output or wireless connectivity should consider other models, as this unit only prints in black and offers a wired Ethernet link. The 1000-sheet paper capacity supports long runs without frequent reloading, but buyers who need mobile printing or colour documents will not be served by this device.

42 ppm mono print speed with 12500-page toner

The decisive specification is the 42 pages per minute black print and copy speed paired with the bundled high-yield toner. If your workload demands faster throughput or colour capability, this configuration will not meet the requirement.

Questions about this item

Will this M525C work with my existing Cat5e Ethernet cabling?

Yes, the printer connects through a standard RJ-45 Ethernet port so your current Cat5e infrastructure will carry the 42 ppm print stream without any adapter.

How can I verify the 1200 x 1200 dpi output is sharp after installation?

Print the built-in configuration page from the control panel; the text and graphics should show crisp 1200 dpi detail with no streaks or light bands.

Does the bundle include the CE255X toner and are any cables supplied?

The pack ships with a new generic CE255X cartridge rated for 12500 pages; a power cord is included but an Ethernet cable must be purchased separately.
