Product identity

The HP LaserJet Enterprise 600 M601DTN is a monochrome laser printer built for office workgroups. It prints up to 45 pages per minute at 1200 x 1200 dpi resolution. Automatic duplex printing and an extra paper feeder bring total input capacity to 1100 sheets. Ethernet connectivity enables direct network integration.

Suitability

This device suits teams that need high-volume black-and-white output with minimal user intervention. The large paper supply and automatic two-sided printing reduce reload frequency. Buyers who require colour documents or wireless connectivity should look at alternative models. The unit ships without toner, so a separate cartridge purchase is necessary.

Deciding specification

The Ethernet (RJ-45) interface is the sole network connection method. If your infrastructure relies on Wi-Fi or USB-only printing, this printer will not integrate without additional hardware. Confirm that your environment supports wired Ethernet before purchase.

Questions about this item

How many pages can the 1100-sheet input hold before a reload is needed during a long print run?

The combined trays hold 1100 pages, so that is the maximum you can load before the printer pauses for more paper.

What is the typical sound level and heat output when the M601DTN runs continuously at 45 ppm?

The unit is a monochrome laser with a new maintenance kit installed; it runs at office-friendly noise levels and stays within normal laser-printer heat ranges for this class.

Which cables must I already have to connect the CE990A to my network and power it?

The printer ships with a power cord and an Ethernet (RJ-45) cable, so no additional cables are required for basic wired operation.
