HP LaserJet Enterprise 600 M603XH

The HP LaserJet Enterprise 600 M603XH is a monochrome laser printer designed for high-volume office printing. It delivers black output at up to 60 pages per minute with a 1200 x 1200 dpi resolution. An extra paper feeder brings the maximum input capacity to 1100 pages. Ethernet connectivity supports network sharing across workgroups.

Who this suits and who it does not

This printer suits offices that need fast, reliable monochrome output and automatic duplexing. It is not for users who require colour printing or wireless connectivity. Buyers needing included toner or a longer manufacturer warranty should look elsewhere.

Deciding specification: 60 ppm mono speed

The 60 pages per minute mono print speed is the key figure that determines if this model matches your workload. It supports heavy daily print volumes with a 1100-page paper capacity. Verify that your environment uses Ethernet networking and accepts monochrome-only output before purchasing.

Questions about this item

Does the CE996A ship with a toner cartridge or must one be bought separately?

The unit does not come with toner; a compatible cartridge must be purchased separately.

How does the extra paper feeder change the 1100-sheet input capacity?

The 1100-page maximum input already includes the extra feeder, so no additional tray is needed to reach that figure.

What does the 60 ppm rating mean for everyday office printing?

Up to 60 monochrome pages per minute can be printed on A4 simplex jobs; duplex and complex graphics will reduce actual throughput.
