HP MDTV L-5 250W Projector Lamp

This genuine compatible replacement lamp module delivers 250 watts of UHP illumination for HP projectors that require the MDTV L-5 assembly. It arrives as a fully assembled bulb and housing, so the unit is ready for immediate installation by anyone maintaining a classroom, boardroom or home-theatre projector.

Straightforward installation with aligned housing

The pre-assembled housing matches the original projector slot, allowing a direct swap without tools or alignment adjustments. The only common issue occurs when the projector’s lamp timer is not reset after replacement, which can trigger a premature replacement warning or prevent the new lamp from striking.

Rated for 2,000 hours of typical use

At full 250W output the lamp comfortably supports daily presentations, training sessions or movie nights for many months before brightness drops to half. Heavy users running the projector continuously will reach the rated limit sooner and should plan a spare module to avoid unexpected downtime.
