Compact desktop for meetings and office work

The HP Mini Conference G9 is a small-form-factor desktop built around an Intel Core i7-12700T processor with 12 cores and 20 threads, 16 GB of DDR5-4800 memory in a dual-channel configuration and a 256 GB PCIe NVMe TLC SSD. It runs Windows 10 IoT Enterprise and includes Intel Wi-Fi 6E AX211 and Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity.

Suited for dedicated conferencing

This system fits organisations that need a quiet, space-saving PC for video calls, web apps and document editing in meeting rooms or home offices. Buyers who require discrete graphics for rendering, larger local storage for media libraries or user-upgradeable memory slots should look elsewhere.

256 GB PCIe NVMe TLC SSD

The single solid-state drive determines how much software and data can stay on the device without external storage. If the workload demands more capacity or a second drive bay, this model will not meet the requirement.

Questions about this item

How is the 256 GB NVMe SSD installed and what step is often missed?

The NVMe drive is factory-installed in the M.2 slot; the step users sometimes miss is enabling the NVMe controller in BIOS before cloning or reinstalling the OS.

What maintenance or replacement will the 90 W external power adapter need later?

The 90 W external adapter is the only field-replaceable power component; plan to swap it if the barrel connector loosens or the unit no longer delivers full voltage under load.

What limit appears first when the 12-core 20-thread i7-12700T runs sustained all-core workloads?

The 90 W external adapter and compact thermal solution cap sustained power, so the 12-core 20-thread CPU drops below its maximum turbo frequency during extended all-core workloads.
