Product identity

This refurbished HP EliteBook 840 G5 is a 14.0 inch business laptop with a quad-core Intel Core i5-8350U processor running at 1.70GHz. It comes with 16GB of memory and a 256GB SSD, and ships with Windows 11 Pro 64-bit pre-installed. The FHD display offers a 1920 x 1080 resolution without touch input.

Who it suits and who it does not

Professionals needing a portable Windows 11 machine for office applications, web browsing and video calls will find the 16GB memory and integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 adequate. Buyers who want a pristine cosmetic appearance should look elsewhere, as Grade B units show dents, scuffs, a worn keyboard and hairline screen scratches. Users requiring dedicated graphics performance for rendering or gaming, or those needing more than 256GB of internal storage, will not be served by this configuration.

Bundled impact

The included Windows 11 Pro 64-bit licence enables domain join, BitLocker and remote desktop features immediately on first boot. The 16GB memory and 256GB SSD are already installed, so the laptop is ready for productivity tasks without extra hardware purchases. A built-in webcam supports video conferencing out of the box.
