HP OfficeJet Pro 8135 All-in-One

The HP OfficeJet Pro 8135 is a new all-in-one inkjet printer built for small offices and home workspaces that need printing, copying, scanning and colour fax in one device. It delivers up to 20 ppm in both black and colour with a first-page-out time of 15 seconds. AI-capable features and three months of Instant Ink are included.

Suited for teams needing fast colour output

This model suits users who want quick colour documents, borderless photos up to 8.5 x 11 in and broad operating-system support from Windows 11 back to Windows 10, macOS 11 through 15, Linux and Chrome OS. It is not for buyers who need high-volume paper capacity, automatic two-sided scanning or a larger scan bed beyond 8.5 x 11.7 in.

Print speed and quality benchmark

The decisive specification is the combined 20 ppm print speed with 1200 x 1200 dpi black and 4800 x 1200 dpi colour resolution, which determines whether the unit matches the output pace and sharpness your workload requires.

Questions about this item

What does the 20 ppm print speed mean once the printer is in a real machine?

The printer delivers up to 20 pages per minute for both black and colour after the first page, so a 20-page document finishes in about one minute.

What interface does the printer use and what does it cap in practice?

It connects via USB and network; the 15-second first-page time is the practical limit before sustained 20 ppm output begins.

What does the 17.6 lb weight mean for where I can place it?

At 17.6 lb it sits stably on a standard desk or shelf, and the 8.5 x 11.7 in scan area fits letter and A4 documents.
