Replacement Battery for HP Omen 15 Models

This 15.4V lithium-ion battery replaces the original power cell in HP Omen 15-ce198wm 15-ce018dx 15-ce019dx 15-ce005la and 15-dc0xxx laptops. It is built for owners who need a new battery because the original no longer holds a charge. The four-cell design fits the existing battery bay without modification.

70W Capacity Determines Runtime

The single specification that decides fit is the 70W capacity rating paired with 15.4V output. This combination matches the factory power envelope for the listed models. A different wattage or voltage would not seat correctly or would report inaccurate charge levels in the operating system.

Drops Into the Existing Bay

Installation uses the laptop's native battery compartment and connector; no adapters, cables or firmware updates are required. The cell layout aligns with the OEM screw posts and latch mechanism. Once seated, the battery frees the notebook from wall power for mobile work sessions.

Questions about this item

What does the 70W capacity mean for daily runtime on my HP Omen 15?

The 70W rating indicates the total energy the 4-cell pack can store, giving a full charge that typically powers the laptop for several hours depending on screen brightness and workload.

How does the 15.4V specification affect compatibility with my HP Omen 15-ce198wm?

The battery is built to match the 15.4V requirement of the listed Omen models, so it connects directly to the motherboard without adapters and the charge controller recognises it immediately.

Will this 4-cell pack fit the chassis of my HP Omen 15-ce018dx without modification?

Yes, the pack is shaped to the original 4-cell footprint for the 15-ce and 15-dc series, aligning with the screw holes and latch mechanism for a direct swap.
