Thin flagship for high-stakes gaming

The HP OMEN 16 Slim combines an Intel Core Ultra 9 285H processor with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 graphics card in a 0.89 in Shadow Black chassis. It ships with 96 GB DDR5 memory and a 2 TB PCIe SSD. The 16 inch WQXGA IPS panel runs at 2560 x 1600 resolution with a 240 Hz refresh rate and 500 nits brightness. Windows 11 Home is pre-installed.

Suited for competitive play and creative workloads

The 16 core CPU with 5.40 GHz turbo and 240 Hz display serve esports players and content creators who need rapid response and extra vertical space. The slim profile and 100 sRGB gamut support mobile professionals. Buyers seeking a larger chassis or different GPU tier should consider other models.

Deciding spec: 240 Hz WQXGA panel

The 2560 x 1600 resolution at 240 Hz defines the visual experience for gaming and design work. This refresh rate at WQXGA is the primary factor that determines if the laptop matches a buyer's performance target.
