Processor and graphics core

The HP OMEN 35L GT16 desktop is built around an AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor with 8 cores and a 5.2 GHz maximum boost clock. A dedicated NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card with 16 GB GDDR7 memory handles rendering. 32 GB DDR5-6000 RAM and a 2 TB PCIe Gen4 NVMe M.2 SSD complete the main specification.

Who this system suits

This configuration serves gamers and content creators who need high single-thread performance and modern GPU features in a pre-built chassis. Buyers who require more than 32 GB of memory or additional internal drive bays should evaluate other platforms. The fixed component selection also limits future GPU upgrades to cards that fit the existing power and thermal envelope.

Storage interface constraint

The 2 TB solid-state drive uses a PCIe Gen4 NVMe M.2 interface. This determines the maximum sequential throughput available for game loads and file transfers. Any future storage expansion must use a compatible M.2 slot supporting the same protocol.

What accessories come with the HP OMEN 35L GT16 and is a display included?

The desktop ships with a wired keyboard and mouse combo. A monitor is not included and must be purchased separately.

Should I choose the 32 GB DDR5-6000 memory or the 2 TB PCIe Gen4 NVMe M.2 SSD for gaming?

Both components serve different roles; the 32 GB DDR5-6000 RAM handles active game data while the 2 TB PCIe Gen4 NVMe M.2 SSD stores the game library and operating system.

What does the AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D 5.2 GHz boost clock mean for frame rates?

The 8-core, 16-thread processor with 96 MB L3 cache and 5.2 GHz max boost clock drives high frame rates in CPU-limited titles and keeps the RTX 5080 16 GB GDDR7 fed with data.
