AI-Ready Business Laptop

The HP OmniBook 5 16-fb0037nr ships new with a Qualcomm Snapdragon X Plus X1P-42-100 processor running up to 3.4 GHz across eight cores. It includes 32 GB LPDDR5x-8448 MT/s memory, a 1 TB PCIe NVMe SSD and Windows 11 Pro. The 16-inch 2K OLED touchscreen covers 95% DCI-P3 at 300 nits with a 0.2 ms response time. Connectivity uses Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3.

Ports and Power Compatibility

Verify that your peripherals can use one USB Type-A 10 Gbps port and two USB Type-C 10 Gbps ports supporting USB Power Delivery 3.0 and DisplayPort 1.4a. The laptop charges through USB Type-C via the included 65 W GaN adapter. External displays must accept DisplayPort 1.4a signalling over USB-C. The audio jack is a single headphone/microphone combo.

Thermals and Battery Life

The 59 Wh three-cell polymer battery powers the system alongside the 65 W adapter. Fan noise and surface temperature will vary with workload on the Adreno GPU and eight-core CPU. Typical office tasks keep thermals moderate; sustained AI or video workloads raise heat output and fan speed. Battery runtime depends on screen brightness, wireless activity and processor load.
