Core Specifications

The HP OmniBook 5 is a 16 inch touchscreen laptop built around an Intel Core Ultra 9 386H processor with an integrated NPU rated at 50 TOPS. It ships with 32GB of LPDDR5x memory and a 1TB PCIe Gen4 NVMe SSD. The 2K OLED panel delivers a 1920 by 1200 resolution and covers the display with edge-to-edge glass.

Best Fit

This machine suits professionals who want on-device AI acceleration through the Copilot+ platform and a colour-accurate OLED screen for creative work. The 32GB of soldered memory and single M.2 2242 slot mean buyers who need user-upgradable RAM or multiple internal drives should look elsewhere.

Build Integration

Two Thunderbolt 4 ports provide 40Gbps signalling with USB Power Delivery 3.1 and DisplayPort 2.1 for docks and external displays. A 65W GaN USB-C adapter charges the 68Wh battery while HDMI 2.1 and two USB-A ports handle legacy peripherals. The 1080p IR camera with privacy shutter and Wi-Fi 7 complete the connectivity set.
