Product identity

The HP OmniBook X 17-dd0043dx is a 17.3 inch Copilot+ PC with a Full HD IPS touchscreen, Intel Core Ultra 9 288V processor, 32GB memory and a 2TB SSD. It targets professionals who want a large display, long battery life and on-device AI acceleration in a silver chassis.

Upgrade perspective

It replaces older ultraportables that lack a neural processing unit rated at 48 trillion operations per second and integrated Intel Arc 140V graphics. The jump is worth it when workflows rely on local AI inference, 25.5 hour battery claims and a single Thunderbolt 4 plus HDMI 2.1 video output.

Sustained behaviour

An 8-core CPU with 5.1 GHz boost and 12MB L3 cache shares a lithium-ion polymer battery with the NPU and Arc graphics. Under continuous load the system balances thermal headroom across compute, graphics and AI blocks rather than bursting on one subsystem alone.
