Compact touch laptop for everyday productivity

The HP Pavilion 15-eg0050wm is a 15.6 inch Full HD touchscreen notebook in Lunar Gold. It runs on an Intel Core i5-1135G7 quad-core processor with 8 GB of memory and a 512 GB solid-state drive. Windows 10 comes pre-installed for immediate use. The micro-edge display and Audio by B&O suit home office work and casual entertainment.

Fanless profile and adaptive battery management

The slim chassis relies on passive cooling augmented by system-level thermal tuning, so acoustic output stays low during typical office tasks. Adaptive Battery Optimizer monitors temperature, charging state and usage time to protect long-term cell health. Intel Iris Xe graphics share system memory, keeping power draw modest for extended unplugged sessions.

Fingerprint login and cross-device file transfer

A built-in 3D fingerprint reader unlocks the device with a single touch, replacing password entry for faster, secure access. HP QuickDrop moves photos, videos and documents between the laptop and a paired phone without cables or cloud uploads. Wide 178-degree viewing angles preserve colour consistency when the screen is shared.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 512 GB drive and what step do people skip?

The 512 GB drive is already installed from the factory; the step people skip is creating a recovery drive before first use.

What part of the 15.6" touchscreen will need replacement first?

The glass digitiser is the first component to wear out; a screen protector reduces scratches that degrade touch accuracy.

Which limit appears first during long sessions on the Core i5-1135G7?

Thermal throttling engages once the quad-core processor reaches its temperature ceiling, lowering clock speeds to protect the chip.
