Electronic Hook Switch Cable

The HP Poly APS-11 Electronic Hook Switch Cable enables remote answer and end call control for compatible desk phones. It is designed for office professionals who use supported headsets and want to manage calls away from the handset. The cable removes the requirement for a mechanical HL10 Handset Lifter on the desk.

Desk phone compatibility limits

This cable works with specific desk phone models from Siemens, Funwerk, Auerswald, Agfeo, Aastra and DTeWe. It may function with additional manufacturers, though verification is required for each unlisted model. The cable replaces the earlier APS-10 version and adds support for the Plantronics On-line Indicator accessory.

Straightforward connection setup

Installation involves plugging the cable between the headset base and the supported desk phone port. No software configuration is needed on the host computer. Issues typically arise when the desk phone model is not on the supported list or when the phone firmware prevents electronic hook switch signalling.
