  • Product typeNoise Cancelling

  • Hearing protection limits output above 118 dBA to safeguard ears

  • Detachable 3.5 mm cable adds compatibility with mobile devices
  • Inline controls handle calls, volume and media without reaching for the computer

Enterprise USB-C Headset

The HP Poly Blackwire 3325 is a wired on-ear headset built for enterprise deployments. It connects via USB-C to most Mac and Windows PCs and includes a detachable 3.5 mm connector for mobile devices. Inline controls handle call management, mute, volume and multimedia playback. The headset folds flat for portability and ships with a USB-C to USB-A adapter.

USB-C and 3.5 mm Interface Limits

The USB-C connection provides plug-and-play audio on supported computers without driver installation. A bundled USB-C to USB-A adapter extends compatibility to legacy USB-A ports. The 3.5 mm analog jack works with mobile devices but bypasses the USB inline controls and any USB-powered features. Audio function over 3.5 mm depends entirely on the host device's own jack implementation.

32 Ohm Drivers with 118 dBA Protection

The 32 ohm, 32 mm speakers deliver stereo sound suited for voice calls and general multimedia. Hearing protection caps output at 118 dBA to guard against sudden loud signals. Leatherette ear cushions provide a comfortable on-ear fit for extended sessions. Buyers needing active noise cancellation on the earcups or wireless freedom should consider other form factors.

Questions about this item

Which connection option should I pick — USB-C or the 3.5 mm adapter?

Use USB-C on PCs and Macs for plug-and-play calls; plug the 3.5 mm jack into phones or tablets when a USB port is not available.

What does the 118 dBA hearing-protection limit mean during a call?

The headset caps incoming audio at 118 dBA so sudden loud tones cannot exceed that level.

How does the USB-C interface affect audio quality on a laptop?

The USB-C link carries digital audio directly to the 32 ohm drivers, bypassing the laptop’s analogue jack for consistent stereo output.
