The HP Poly Edge E100 is a corded VoIP desk phone with a 2.8" colour display and light-bar status indicator. It supports up to eight lines and contacts across two line keys for busy office workers. The handset and console include Microban antimicrobial protection for shared environments. Power is supplied via the included adapter or the built-in PoE port.

Check network and headset compatibility

Your infrastructure must provide two GigE Ethernet ports, one of which delivers PoE if you want to omit the external power supply. A CAT-5E LAN cable is included for the initial connection. The phone accepts USB, RJ9 or Electronic Hook Switch headsets, so verify which connector your preferred headset uses. Wall-mount hardware is supplied if a desk stand is not suitable.

Thermals noise and power draw

The unit runs silently with no internal fan, relying on passive cooling during normal desk use. Power consumption stays low thanks to Energy Star certification and PoE Class 3 operation. The external power supply only draws mains power when PoE is unavailable. RoHS compliance confirms restricted hazardous substances are absent from the materials.
