Large-room USB video bar

The HP Poly Studio V72 is a USB video bar designed for large meeting rooms. It delivers 3840 x 2160 live video for 4K UHD conferencing. The package includes the video bar, an Ethernet cable, a wall mount kit, a quick start guide, an AC power adapter, an HDMI cable, and a USB Type-C to USB Type-C cable. It suits teams that need a single-device solution for high-resolution video meetings.

Wall-mountable connectivity and power

The device connects via one RJ-45 network port, one HDMI input, two HDMI outputs, USB, Ethernet, and Wireless LAN. An AC power adapter supplies power for normal operation. The wall-mountable design keeps the unit secure and out of the way in a large room. No internal fan or radiator specifications are provided in the available data.

Replaces multi-piece room systems

This video bar replaces setups that require separate cameras, microphones, speakers, and wiring. The jump is worth it when a team wants one integrated unit that mounts on the wall and covers a large room with 4K video. It is not for buyers who need a portable device for small huddle spaces or who require specifications not listed here.

Questions about this item

How do I mount the Poly Studio V72 on a wall without blocking the HDMI and USB-C ports?

Use the included wall-mount kit and leave at least 45 mm clearance behind the bar so the two HDMI outputs, HDMI input and USB-C cable can be connected without sharp bends.

Which parts of the Studio V72 will need replacement after extended use in a large meeting room?

The AC power adapter and the supplied Ethernet, HDMI and USB-C cables are the only field-replaceable items; the camera, microphone array and speaker are sealed inside the unit.

At what point does the 4K UHD video stream hit a hard limit during a long conference call?

The 3840 x 2160 live feed is capped at the USB-C link bandwidth, so sustained 4K transmission cannot exceed that single-stream ceiling.
