Ready for business work

The HP ProBook 450 G9 is a 15.6 inch laptop built around a 12th Gen Intel Core i5 with a minimum 1.30GHz speed, 32GB of memory and a 128GB SSD running Windows 11 Pro. It suits office professionals and students who need a reliable machine for documents, web apps and video calls.

Expand memory, connect peripherals

Two memory slots are available with 32GB already installed, leaving room for future upgrades. The Full HD 1920 x 1080 LED backlit display is non-touch, while Bluetooth and a webcam handle wireless accessories and meetings without extra dongles.

Cool and quiet for desk use

Integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics keep heat and fan noise low during typical productivity tasks. The solid-state drive has no moving parts, so the system stays silent when idle and draws modest power for all-day battery life.

Questions about this item

How long will the Intel Core i5 12th Gen processor sustain its 1.30GHz base speed before thermal throttling reduces performance?

The processor guarantees a minimum 1.30GHz base frequency. Sustained speeds depend on the cooling system's ability to dissipate heat during continuous workloads.

What are the fan noise levels and surface temperatures when the laptop runs intensive tasks all day?

The 15.6 inch chassis uses active cooling for the Intel Iris Xe Graphics and CPU. Acoustic output and skin temperatures vary with workload intensity and ambient conditions.

Which specific USB ports and video outputs must my existing dock or monitor provide to connect this laptop?

The unit includes standard USB-A and USB-C ports plus an HDMI output. Match your dock to these interfaces for full compatibility with the 1920 x 1080 display.
