Questions about this item

What limits the Core i5-1245U during sustained workloads?

The 10-core processor uses a 12 MB L3 cache and shares system memory with the integrated Iris Xe graphics, so thermal headroom becomes the first constraint under continuous load.

How loud or hot does the 14-inch chassis get when running all day?

The thin 0.78-inch profile houses dual fans that ramp up under the 12th-gen CPU, producing audible airflow while the silver deck stays warm to the touch during extended sessions.

Which port must my existing monitor cable match for video output?

The laptop provides one HDMI 2.0 port and one Mini DisplayPort 1.4, so your display cable needs either a full-size HDMI or a Mini DisplayPort connector.
