Ultra-compact AI desktop for small workspaces

The HP ProDesk 4 Mini G1i fits into tight office spaces with a 1.5-inch profile and 2.6 lb chassis. It targets professionals who need Windows 11 Pro and local AI acceleration from the Intel Core Ultra 5-235T processor. Buyers who require discrete graphics or internal expansion bays should look elsewhere.

Plug-and-play setup with a single external power

The 90W power supply stays outside the case, so installation only needs a monitor cable and network connection. No internal screws or drive caddies are involved. The only common issue is forgetting to seat the DDR5 SO-DIMM firmly if a memory upgrade is attempted later.

8 TB PCIe NVMe SSD decides storage capacity

The single 8 TB NVMe drive holds the operating system, applications and all local data without extra drives. If a project demands more than 8 TB of fast storage, this configuration cannot be expanded internally.

Questions about this item

How can I verify the 15th Gen Ultra 5-235T is hitting its 5 GHz boost after setup?

Open Task Manager’s Performance tab and watch the CPU frequency climb toward 5 GHz while running a heavy single-thread load; the 14-core, 14-thread design with 24 MB cache should sustain high clocks under the 90 W power supply.

Which accessories are already in the box and which must I purchase separately?

The package includes a wired keyboard, wired mouse, 90 W power supply and a Dockztorm USB hub rated at 5 Gbps; a display and any additional cables are not included.

Should I choose a different capacity when the only listed drive is the 8 TB PCIe NVMe SSD?

This configuration ships with a single 8 TB PCIe NVMe SSD as the sole storage device; no other capacities or drive types are offered for this model.
