Business mini desktop

This HP ProDesk 600 G2 Mini ships with Windows 10 Pro installed. It targets offices that need a compact, quiet PC for everyday productivity tasks. The small form factor fits behind a monitor or on a crowded desk.

8 GB DDR4 and 120 GB SSD

The system includes 8 GB of DDR4 memory and a 120 GB solid-state drive. That combination handles web browsing, email and office suites smoothly. Larger datasets or multiple virtual machines will exhaust both capacity and headroom quickly.

Practical limits of the platform

The 1.6 inch chassis leaves no room for internal expansion cards or additional drive bays. Without a supplied power adapter the unit cannot operate until a compatible brick is sourced. Buyers who need more storage or discrete graphics should consider a larger form factor.

Questions about this item

Can the 8 GB DDR4 memory in this ProDesk 600 G2 Mini be expanded alongside the module already installed?

The system ships with 8 GB of DDR4 memory. Expansion depends on the number of free slots on the motherboard, which is not detailed in the specifications.

How can I verify the i5-6500T processor and 120 GB SSD are recognised after first boot?

Open Windows 10 Pro Settings, choose System then About to confirm the processor name and installed RAM, then check Disk Management to see the 120 GB SSD listed with its full capacity.

The listing says computer only with no power adapter; what else must I source before use?

You will need to buy a compatible HP power adapter for the 600 G2 Mini, plus a monitor, keyboard and mouse, as none are included in the box.
