Tiny business desktop

The HP ProDesk 600 G2 Tiny is a mini PC built for business users who need a compact system with a 6th Generation Intel Core i7-6700T processor running at 2.80 GHz up to 3.60 GHz. It ships with 16GB DDR4 memory and a 1TB SSD, ready for office workloads. Windows 10 Pro is pre-installed. No monitor is included.

Bundled input kit

A wired keyboard and wired mouse are supplied in the box so the system can be used immediately without sourcing separate peripherals. A BTO Wi-Fi adapter adds wireless connectivity alongside the Ethernet RJ-45 port. DisplayPort and USB 3.0 ports support external displays and fast data accessories.

Tool-free access

The Tiny chassis allows quick access to memory slots and the storage bay for upgrades up to 64 GB RAM. Integrated Intel HD Graphics 530 handles everyday visual tasks but is not suited for intensive 3D rendering or modern gaming. Buyers who need discrete graphics or additional internal drive bays should consider a larger form factor.

Questions about this item

Will the 16 GB DDR4 memory need upgrading and can I go beyond 16 GB?

The board supports up to 64 GB of DDR4 so you can add more modules later if workloads grow.

What limits performance first when the i7-6700T runs at 3.60 GHz for long periods?

The tiny chassis and its integrated cooler reach thermal capacity before the CPU hits its maximum turbo frequency.

How loud and hot does the ProDesk 600 G2 Tiny get when it runs all day?

The low-power 2.80 GHz base clock keeps heat modest and the small fan stays quiet during typical office workloads.
