Compact Business Desktop

The HP ProDesk 600 G2 Tiny is a mini PC built for office environments that need capable processing in a small footprint. It ships with a 6th Generation Intel Core i7-6700T processor running at 2.80 GHz up to 3.60 GHz, 16GB DDR4 memory and a 512GB SSD. Windows 10 Professional is pre-installed, and a wired keyboard and mouse are included.

Connectivity and Display Limits

The system provides DisplayPort outputs that support 4K resolution, USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 ports for peripherals, and an Ethernet RJ-45 jack for wired networking. A BTO Wi-Fi adapter adds wireless capability. Integrated Intel HD Graphics 530 handles visual output, but there is no discrete graphics option and the tiny chassis prevents internal expansion cards.

Installation and Common Issues

Setup is straightforward: connect power, a display via DisplayPort, and the included peripherals. The compact case requires no tools for basic access, yet internal upgrade space is minimal. Memory can be increased to a maximum of 64 GB using DDR4 modules, but the 2.5-inch drive bay is already occupied by the SSD, limiting further storage additions without external solutions.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 16GB DDR4 model or upgrade toward the 64GB maximum?

The unit ships with 16GB DDR4 installed; the board supports up to 64GB if you need more headroom for heavy multitasking or virtual machines.

What does the 2.80GHz base and 3.60GHz turbo on the i7-6700T mean for daily workloads?

The quad-core CPU runs at 2.80GHz normally and can boost to 3.60GHz on demanding threads, giving snappy response in office apps and light creative tasks.

Which display standard do the DisplayPort ports use, and what resolution ceiling does that impose?

The DisplayPort outputs support 4K resolution, so you can drive ultra-high-definition monitors at their native pixel count.
