Business desktop for office and study

The HP ProDesk 600 G6 is a new tower PC built around a 6-core Intel Core i5-10500 processor with 3.1 GHz base and 4.5 GHz turbo speeds. It ships with 16 GB of DDR4 memory at 2400 MT/s and a 512 GB NVMe SSD. Windows 10 Pro is pre-installed, making it ready for managed business or education environments.

Tower chassis with front and rear I/O

The black tower provides front access to two USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, a USB-C 3.1 Gen 1 port and a headset combo jack. Rear connectivity adds four USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, two DisplayPort outputs, Gigabit Ethernet and an audio-out jack. An internal Wi-Fi 6 card and Bluetooth handle wireless duties while a Kensington security slot supports physical locking.

Integrated graphics and 180 W power limit

Intel UHD Graphics 630 drives both DisplayPort outputs for dual-monitor setups without a discrete card. The 180 W power supply constrains future GPU upgrades to low-profile cards that fit the thermal and electrical budget. Memory can be expanded to 64 GB across the DIMM slots, but the platform remains tied to DDR4 and 10th-generation Intel architecture.

Questions about this item

What display standards do the two DisplayPort outputs support in practice?

The two DisplayPort ports are driven by the integrated Intel UHD Graphics 630 and can drive two monitors at up to 4K 60 Hz each, limited by the graphics engine rather than the port version.

What physical space and power does the Microtower chassis allow for an add-in graphics card?

The 180 W power supply and Microtower case accept half-height, single-slot cards that draw power only from the PCIe slot, so any GPU must fit those dimensions and stay within the slot power budget.

How do you add more memory, and what mistake do people make?

Open the tool-less side panel, insert DDR4-2400 DIMMs into the two free slots for up to 64 GB total, and be sure to use DDR4 modules — other DDR generations will not fit the slots.
