Ready-to-use desktop with twin displays

This HP ProDesk 600 G5 Mini PC arrives as a complete kit: the compact 2021 chassis, a wired keyboard and mouse, and two 24-inch LCD monitors. An Intel Core i5-9500T processor with six cores and 16 GB of DDR4 memory drives Windows 11 Pro, while a 500 GB SSD provides the boot drive and a second 500 GB SATA drive adds bulk storage. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are built in for cable-free peripherals and network access.

Home offices and light commercial desks

The bundle suits buyers who want a single-box solution for everyday productivity, video calls and web-based apps without assembling separate components. The small form factor fits tight desk spaces and the included monitors are ready to plug in. Users who need discrete graphics for CAD, modern gaming or heavy video encoding should look elsewhere, as the system relies on the processor's integrated graphics only.

16 GB DDR4 in a two-slot LGA 1151 platform

Memory is supplied as a single 16 GB DDR4 module occupying one of two SO-DIMM slots, leaving the second slot free for an upgrade to the 64 GB maximum. The LGA 1151 socket ties the platform to 8th and 9th generation Intel Core processors, so any future CPU change stays within that family.

Questions about this item

How do I install the second DDR3 module in the ProDesk 600 G5 Mini, and which step do people skip?

Remove the bottom cover, align the notch on the DDR3 stick with the empty SO-DIMM slot, press firmly until the clips click, then replace the cover; the step most often missed is seating the module fully so both retention clips engage.

What maintenance or replacement will the 500 GB SATA SSD need later?

The SATA SSD has no moving parts, so no mechanical maintenance is required; monitor its SMART health attributes periodically and plan a replacement when the drive reports reallocated sectors or reaches its rated endurance limit.

What limit appears first when the i5-9500T runs sustained workloads in this Mini chassis?

The small-form-factor cooling solution reaches its thermal capacity first, causing the processor to reduce clock speeds to stay within its thermal envelope.
