Complete desktop system

This HP ProDesk G2 desktop computer ships as a ready-to-use package that includes a 24 inch monitor, a wired keyboard and a wired mouse. An Intel Core i7-6700 processor running at 3.40 GHz with a 4.0 GHz boost clock works alongside 16 GB of DDR4 memory and a 2 TB SSD. The AMD Radeon RX 550 graphics card and Windows 10 Pro complete the build.

Ideal for general gaming and office use

Buyers who want a single-box solution for 1080p gaming, everyday productivity and media playback will find the included peripherals and 64 GB maximum memory headroom convenient. Users who need more storage than 2 TB, higher frame rates in modern titles or a newer CPU architecture should look at other configurations.

Graphics card determines gaming ceiling

The AMD Radeon RX 550 550 is the component that defines whether this system meets a specific performance target. Its capabilities set the practical limit for resolution, detail settings and frame rates in the games you intend to play.

Questions about this item

What internal space and power connections does the small-form-factor case provide for the RX 550 graphics card?

The slim chassis fits a low-profile Radeon RX 550 card and uses the standard PCIe slot power; no auxiliary power cable is required.

Which screw or latch secures the side panel when adding the 16 GB DDR4 memory, and what orientation do the modules need?

Remove the thumbscrew at the rear, swing the panel open, then press each DDR4 stick straight down until the retention clips click.

How often should the front intake filter be cleaned to keep the i7-6700 and RX 550 temperatures stable?

Vacuum the mesh filter every three to six months; the slim form factor draws all cooling air through that single opening.
