HP ProDesk G2 SFF Desktop with 24" Monitor

This small form factor desktop includes a 24-inch LED monitor, wired RGB keyboard and mouse. It runs on an Intel Core i5-6500 processor at 3.2 GHz with 16GB DDR4 memory and a 1TB SSD. Windows 10 Professional is pre-installed with built-in Wi-Fi connectivity.

Who This Suits and Who Should Look Elsewhere

Buyers needing a compact business PC with integrated peripherals and 4K DisplayPort support will find this suitable. Those requiring a discrete graphics card for gaming or intensive 3D rendering should consider other options. Systems needing more than 64GB maximum memory capacity are not supported by this platform.

Deciding Specification: 16GB DDR4 and 1TB SSD

The 16GB DDR4 memory and 1TB SSD combination determines if this system meets workload demands. Memory expands to 64GB maximum using DDR4 modules only. The 1TB solid-state drive provides fast boot times and application loading for business applications.

Questions about this item

Does the system arrive with a keyboard and mouse so I can use it straight away?

Yes, a wired RGB keyboard and mouse are included in the box, so no separate input devices are required.

Will the DisplayPort output drive my older 1080p DVI monitor with a simple adapter?

The integrated Intel HD Graphics 530 supports DisplayPort output, and a passive DisplayPort-to-DVI adapter will carry the 1080p signal without extra power.

How can I verify the 16 GB DDR4 memory is recognised and running at the correct speed after first boot?

Open Task Manager, select the Performance tab, click Memory and confirm it reads 16 GB DDR4.
