A 1U rack server with a 2.4 GHz six-core Xeon, 8 GB DDR4, two 4 TB SAS drives and redundant 500 W power supplies
The HP ProLiant DL360 Gen9 is a 1U rack server built for space-constrained environments. It ships with a single Intel Xeon E5-2620 v3 six-core processor running at 2.4 GHz and 8GB of DDR4 ECC registered memory. Storage is handled by an HP Smart HBA H240ar controller managing two 4TB 7.2K 3.5-inch SAS drives in four LFF bays. Dual 500W redundant hot-swap power supplies provide resiliency. No operating system is included.
This server suits organisations running virtualisation clusters, database instances or file services that need dense 1U packaging with redundant power and hardware RAID. The Matrox G200 graphics and single CPU configuration make it unsuitable for GPU-accelerated workloads, high-frequency trading or render farms. Buyers needing immediate dual-processor performance or pre-installed solid-state storage should look at alternative configurations.
The installed Intel Xeon E5-2620 v3 provides six cores and twelve threads at 2.4 GHz. While the socket supports a second processor to reach the platform maximum of thirty-six total cores, the current single-CPU configuration caps available compute threads at twelve. Expansion to dual processors requires a compatible second E5-2600 v3 or v4 CPU and additional memory kits.

Other versions of this model
The server provides four LFF bays, and two are already occupied by the 4 TB SAS drives.
Dual redundant 500 W supplies share the load, keeping fan speeds lower than a single-unit design under sustained operation.
No OS ships with the server, so you must provide your own hypervisor or OS licence.
