This 1U ProLiant DL360 Gen9 rack server arrives new with a single Intel Xeon E5-2620 v3 six-core processor running at 2.4 GHz. Forty-eight gigabytes of DDR4 ECC registered memory are installed across the 24 DIMM slots, reaching the listed maximum capacity for this configuration. Dual 300 GB 15 000 rpm 3.5-inch SAS drives connect through the Smart HBA H240ar controller, which supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60. Two redundant hot-swap 500 W power supplies are fitted.

Suits space-constrained workloads needing dense

The four LFF drive bays and single-socket layout fit environments where rack depth and power density are limited. Buyers who need more than two internal drives or a second processor from the outset should consider a larger chassis. The Matrox G200 graphics subsystem is intended for management console output only, so GPU-accelerated applications are not supported. No operating system is included.

H240ar controller sets RAID capability

The installed Smart HBA H240ar provides 12 Gb/s SAS and 6 Gb/s SATA connectivity with hardware RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60. This single specification determines which drive arrays can be built without adding another controller. Memory speed runs up to 2 400 MT/s depending on the processor, and the chipset is Intel C610.
