Thin client for embedded tasks

The HP t740 is a compact thin client built around an AMD Ryzen V1756B quad-core processor at 3.25 GHz. It ships with 8 GB of DDR4 memory and 64 GB of flash storage. Windows 10 IoT Enterprise 2019 LTSC comes pre-installed for managed deployments.

Suits managed endpoints, not general desktops

This unit fits kiosks, digital signage and virtualised workspaces that rely on centralised compute. It has no internal drive bays and no discrete graphics, so users who need local storage expansion or high-end 3D performance should look elsewhere.

64 GB flash capacity decides fit

The fixed 64 GB flash module holds the OS and a thin layer of apps or cache. Workloads that require larger local databases, media libraries or offline files will exceed this capacity and need a different platform.

Will the DDR4 memory slots accept the older DIMMs I already have?

Memory is soldered 8 GB DDR4 with no user-accessible slots, so existing DIMMs cannot be used.
