Thin client for server-hosted work

The HP Thin Client MT21 is a 14-inch notebook built for environments that run applications from a central server or cloud. It ships with Windows 10 Pro and includes a 720p webcam for remote sessions. The dual-core Celeron 3865U processor and integrated Intel HD Graphics 610 handle the local side of a virtualised desktop. This unit is configured with 32GB of DDR4 2400 memory and dual storage.

Suited to managed fleets, not standalone power users

Organisations that deploy VMware, Citrix or Microsoft virtual desktops will find the MT21 fits managed rollouts where IT controls the software stack. Buyers who need a laptop for local content creation, modern gaming or heavy offline workloads should look elsewhere because the low-power processor and integrated graphics are not designed for those tasks.

32GB DDR4 2400 memory is the expansion ceiling

The system comes with 32GB of DDR4 2400 RAM already installed and the platform does not support more. If your virtual desktop images or local multitasking need more memory than this, the MT21 cannot meet the requirement and a different device must be chosen.
