15.6-inch 144Hz gaming laptop

The HP Victus pairs a 15.6-inch 144Hz FHD panel with an Intel Core i5-13420H processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 graphics. Eight gigabytes of DDR4 memory and a two-terabyte NVMe SSD handle modern titles and everyday multitasking. Windows 11 Home runs on the 13th Gen eight-core CPU with a 4.6GHz turbo frequency.

6GB GDDR6 video memory

The RTX 3050 ships with six gigabytes of GDDR6 video memory, the single spec that determines texture capacity at 1080p. This frame buffer size lets the GPU hold high-resolution assets without swapping to system RAM. Buyers targeting 1080p gaming should verify this amount matches their workload before purchasing.

Sustained load behavior

Under continuous load the 12MB Smart Cache and 4.6GHz turbo help the eight-core processor maintain clocks, while the 144Hz display keeps motion fluid. Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3 stay active for connectivity during long sessions. Battery life reaches up to three hours, so extended play away from mains power remains limited.

Questions about this item

Will the 8GB of memory be enough for current games?

8GB DDR4 handles many titles at 1080p, but heavier games benefit from more; the laptop has two slots so a second module can be added later.

Can the 2TB NVMe SSD be expanded if I need more space?

The 2TB NVMe drive occupies the primary M.2 slot; a second M.2 slot is available for an additional NVMe drive.

Does the 144Hz panel support an external monitor at the same refresh rate?

The HDMI port can drive an external 1080p display at 144Hz, matching the built-in panel refresh rate.
