15.6" 144 Hz gaming laptop

This HP Victus model pairs an Intel Core i5-13420H processor with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 Laptop GPU and 6 GB GDDR6 video memory. It ships with 32 GB DDR4 RAM and a 1 TB PCIe Gen 4 NVMe M.2 SSD. The 15.6-inch FHD IPS panel runs at 144 Hz with a 9 ms response time. Windows 11 Home is pre-installed.

Check DDR4 memory type and port selection

The system uses DDR4 memory, so any future upgrades must match that standard. Verify that your external displays or docks can use the single HDMI 2.1 output or the USB 3.2 Type-C port. Two USB 3.0 Type-A ports with sleep-and-charge, an RJ-45 jack and a 3.5 mm combo jack complete the physical I/O. Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3 handle wireless connectivity.

Backlit keyboard and 720p webcam included

A full-size backlit keyboard is built in for low-light gaming sessions. The 720p HD webcam supports video calls without extra hardware. A power adapter is supplied in the box. No additional software bundles or recovery media are mentioned in the specifications.

Questions about this item

Can the HDMI 2.1 port drive an external 4K display at 144 Hz for competitive gaming?

Yes, the HDMI 2.1 output supports the bandwidth needed for 4K at high refresh rates, and the RTX 4050 with 6 GB GDDR6 can push modern titles at those settings.

Will the 32 GB DDR4 memory and 1 TB PCIe NVMe SSD handle current AAA games without an immediate upgrade?

32 GB DDR4 meets or exceeds every current recommended spec, and the 1 TB NVMe drive holds several large titles with fast load times.

Does the chassis include a wired RJ-45 Ethernet jack for stable low-latency online play?

The laptop has a built-in RJ-45 port alongside Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3, so you can plug directly into a router for the lowest ping.
