HP Victus 15 i5-13420H RTX 4050

The HP Victus 15 is a gaming laptop built around an Intel Core i5-13420H 8-core processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 GPU with 6GB GDDR6 memory. It ships with 32GB DDR5 memory and a 2TB PCIe SSD. The 15.6" FHD display runs at 144Hz with an anti-glare finish. Windows 11 Home and Office 2024 are pre-installed.

Suits 1080p gaming and multitasking.

The 144Hz panel and RTX 4050 combination suits gamers targeting smooth 1080p frame rates in modern titles. Content creators needing accurate colour reproduction should look elsewhere because the screen covers only 45% NTSC. The 8-core CPU and 32GB DDR5 also handle heavy multitasking and light creative workloads well.

Deciding spec: 6GB GDDR6 on the RTX 4050

The 6GB GDDR6 frame buffer on the RTX 4050 is the single specification that decides suitability. It sets the texture and resolution ceiling for current games at 1080p. Buyers planning to run higher resolutions or memory-heavy creative applications will need a GPU with more video memory.
