HP Victus 15 Raider Gaming Laptop

The HP Victus 15 Raider is a 15.6 inch gaming laptop built around an Intel Core i5 13th Gen 8-core processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 Laptop GPU with 6GB GDDR6 video memory. It ships with 32GB DDR5 memory and a 2TB PCIe SSD running Windows 11 Pro and Office 2024.

144Hz FHD Anti-glare Display

The 15.6 inch panel delivers a 1920 x 1080 resolution at 144Hz with an anti-glare coating and 45% NTSC colour coverage. This screen specification decides whether the laptop suits fast-paced gaming or colour-critical work.

Ports and Upgrade Access

The chassis provides one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C with Power-off Charging, two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports, HDMI 2.1, a combo audio jack, a card reader and a coaxial power jack. The original seal is opened by engineers for RAM or SSD upgrades, so internal access is not intended for end users.

Questions about this item

How does the 4.6 GHz turbo clock behave once the laptop is under load?

The Intel Core i5-13420H can reach 4.6 GHz on its performance cores when thermal headroom allows, dropping back to the 2.3 GHz base clock during sustained heavy workloads to manage heat.

What does the USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port actually cap at for data and charging?

The single USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port delivers up to 10 Gbps data throughput and supports power-off charging for phones or accessories when the laptop is asleep or off.

Will a standard 2.5-inch drive fit inside the 0.93-inch chassis?

No — the 14.09 x 10.04 x 0.93 inch body only accommodates the existing 2 TB PCIe SSD; there is no 2.5-inch bay or spare M.2 slot mentioned.
