HP Victus TG02 Desktop i5-12400

This HP Victus TG02 desktop computer pairs a 12th Gen Intel Core i5-12400 processor with an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Super graphics card. It comes equipped with 64GB of DDR4 memory and a 1TB M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD. Windows 11 Home is pre-installed, and the system includes wired keyboard and mouse peripherals.

Suits buyers needing high memory capacity out

The 64GB DDR4 configuration supports demanding multitasking and content creation workflows without requiring an immediate upgrade. Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0 provide modern wireless connectivity. This system is not for buyers who need DDR5 memory, as the installed modules are DDR4 only.

Graphics card determines 1080p gaming ceiling

The NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Super with 6GB video memory defines the gaming performance tier for this desktop. It targets 1080p resolution at high settings in current titles. Buyers seeking higher resolutions or ray-tracing capabilities should look at systems with more advanced graphics hardware.

Questions about this item

How do I install the side panel after adding a drive, and which screw do people forget?

Remove the thumbscrew at the rear edge, slide the panel toward the back until the tabs catch, then replace the thumbscrew; the step most people miss is sliding the panel fully rearward before tightening.

Which component will need replacement first, and what spec must the new module match?

The 64 GB DDR4 memory is the only user-replaceable part likely to need an upgrade; any added module must be DDR4 to fit the motherboard slots.

What thermal limit appears first during long gaming sessions on the GTX 1660 Super?

The graphics card hits its power and temperature ceiling before the CPU, so sustained loads will throttle the GTX 1660 Super first.
