Victus TG02 desktop for mainstream gaming

The HP Victus TG02 desktop PC pairs a 12th Gen Intel Core i5-12400 processor with an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Super 6 GB graphics card. It ships with 32 GB of DDR4 memory and a 2 TB M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD. Windows 11 Home comes pre-installed alongside a wired keyboard and mouse.

Sustained performance with 12400 and GTX 1660 Super

The 6-core, 12-thread CPU runs at a 2.5 GHz base frequency and can reach 4.4 GHz with Intel Turbo Boost Technology, supported by 18 MB Smart cache. The GTX 1660 Super 6 GB GPU delivers steady frame rates during extended sessions. Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0 maintain stable wireless connectivity throughout.

32 GB DDR4 memory capacity fixed at purchase

This system arrives with 32 GB of DDR4 RAM installed; the motherboard supports up to 64 GB of DDR5 3200 MHz, but DDR4 modules are not interchangeable with DDR5. Buyers who want more memory than 32 GB must choose a different configuration before ordering. The 2 TB NVMe SSD provides the primary storage pool.

Questions about this item

How loud does the i5-12400 and GTX 1660 Super get when the desktop runs all day?

The i5-12400 and GTX 1660 Super are cooled by the Victus chassis fans, which ramp up under load but settle to a low hum during typical all-day use.

Do I need to supply my own monitor, keyboard and mouse for this desktop to work?

A monitor is not included, but a wired keyboard and mouse are in the box so you can start working immediately.

Can I keep using my older USB 2.0 peripherals with the four USB 2.0 Type-A ports on this PC?

Yes, the four USB 2.0 Type-A ports accept legacy devices directly, while the four SuperSpeed USB Type-A and one USB Type-C handle newer gear.
