A tower workstation with a six-core 3.7 GHz Xeon, 128 GB DDR4, 1 TB NVMe plus 2 TB SATA storage, and a Quadro P1000 4 GB graphics card for professional CAD and rendering workloads
Installed Memory Size 128GB
SSD (Installed) 1TB
HDD 2TB
The HP Z4 G4 is a new tower workstation built for professional design, engineering, rendering and content creation workloads. An Intel Xeon W-2135 six-core processor running at 3.7GHz delivers 12 threads for responsive performance in demanding applications. With 128GB of DDR4 ECC memory installed across eight slots, the system handles large project files and smooth multitasking. Windows 11 comes preinstalled for immediate setup.
The memory subsystem is the specification that determines suitability for memory-intensive workflows. Four-channel architecture at 2666MHz with ECC support provides bandwidth and error correction for data-heavy tasks. Buyers who need more than 128GB of RAM cannot expand this configuration further.
Under continuous load the Xeon W-2135 maintains its 3.7GHz base frequency across six cores for stable rendering and simulation performance. The Quadro P1000 with 4GB GDDR5 drives up to four displays via Mini DP 1.4 for extended visual workspaces. Storage combines a 1TB NVMe M.2 SSD for fast application access with a 2TB 7.2K RPM SATA drive for project capacity. The 750W power supply supports dual PCIe x16 Gen 3 graphics cards for future expansion.
